Eksentrik really is a bit of a George & Willy showcase — but it doesn’t take itself too seriously. The mix of thoughtful signage, great coffee, and the free brownie, makes it well worth a visit.
We always get a kick out of seeing our signs pop up in the wild — especially when they’re being used by cafés we’d happily spend all morning in. Lately, we’ve spotted a few George & Willy pieces around Sydney, and thought we’d pull together a little roundup. If you’re local (or just passing through), these spots are worth a visit — good coffee, good people, and some familiar faces on the walls.
Eksentrik Café
Eksentrik Café, found dotted around Sydney with multiple outposts, is full of personality, and their signage is no exception. Their cafes are a hub for George & Willy products, so rather than list them all, we recommend you go and check them out for yourselves.
Inside one of their stores, they’ve gone with the Magnetic Menu Board — a clean, flexible option that lets them shift their offerings around with ease. It keeps things organised without ever feeling rigid.
Outside, they’ve made a statement on their wall with the Big Round Sign, as well as on the ground with a Standing Curved Sign, which adds bold, modern touches to the exterior and catches the eye from down the street.
Fidelity Coffee
Fidelity Coffee feels right at home in the George & Willy world — clean, refined, and design-led, while putting coffee and carefully sourced beans at the heart of everything they do.
They keep things sharp and minimal. Their exterior features a clean Rectangle Blade Sign, guiding you towards the most important thing: coffee. Inside, they’ve taken a thoughtful approach to pricing with custom Pricing Signs that sit neatly on their retail shelves — showing how even the small details can make a big impression.
It works because the blade signage makes an impact even in narrow laneways, while the simple pricing signs add to the minimalist decor. The overall space is seriously up our alley, and incredibly well executed.
Leaf Café
With many locations across Australia, Leaf Café has a modern, cohesive feel, and their signage plays a big role in that.
You’ll often spot the Wooden Letter Board indoors, in either white or black rails...
