Jarred recently returned to work after a month spent in Indonesia.

The trip started with a hot and dusty three-day journey on scooters from Bali to Sumbawa - this involved long ferry rides between the neighbouring islands, dodging potholes and some serious sunburn.

When we arrived we were greeted with what we came for - fun waves and awesome locals. The next three weeks were spent exploring what the islands had to offer and eating the local food - Spicy Nasi Goreng became a daily ritual.

We couldn't complain- pretty consistent swells and warm waters. The days were spent exploring and surfing the different breaks around the islands.

On the rare occasion that the waves were flat we managed to find a few surprise spots for activities.

You can't really beat an Indonesian sunset.
